U.S. Air Force Bombers Return Home Following Security Investigation
The U.S. Air Force has brought its bombers home from a U.S.-run military airbase in England that had been used for strikes against Iran.
The move follows an investigation into a planned terror attack at RAF Fairford. Last month, six people were taken into custody following a security incident at the base. They were later released on bail.
The bombers have now been redeployed to their home bases in the United States.

Midland Residents Can Request Street Improvements
Some Midland residents have an opportunity to ask the city for improvements to their streets.
Residents living on streets without public water, sewer service or pavement can ask the City of Midland to consider adding those improvements.
Requests must be submitted in writing to the Midland Engineering Department and postmarked by November 1.
City engineers will review the requests, with proposals expected to go before Midland City Council in early 2027.
Bay City Could Pave 50 Blocks Next Spring
Several Bay City neighborhood streets could be getting some much-needed attention next spring.
The city has presented a local street paving proposal to the Bay City Commission that would include paving approximately 50 blocks.
City leaders also want to add three employees to the street department and purchase the equipment and materials needed to handle paving work themselves.
If the proposal is approved, paving could begin as early as next April.
For Bay City drivers, that could mean fewer rough rides and a few more streets where you don't have to brace yourself for the next pothole.
